About me

I am a full-time researcher at Mexico's Ministry of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation (Secihti). My academic background is in bionics and bioelectronics. During my PhD at Cinvestav, I was involved in the development of ferroelectric and piezoelectric materials. Whereas during my Postdoc at KULeuven I had the opportunity to develop skills in soft-matter thermal characterization. My areas of interest include the development of biomedical sensors, smart materials, and thermophysics.
Since 2013, I have held the National Researcher recognition granted by the Mexican government.
I am always open to new collaborations and working in new areas of knowledge.
Outside of academia, I always have time for coffee, wine, or beer, and I enjoy a good conversation so, feel free to drop me a note for keeping in touch.
